I began my studies in Asian medicines in 1993
at the London School of Oriental Massage, where
I studied Traditional Thai Healing Massage.
This was followed by a month in Thailand,
studying at ITM in Chiang Mai. I have
subsequently received training from a number
of teachers of the Northern-style.
I studied Chinese Medicine at the Academy of
Oriental Medicine in Austin, Texas, and
Acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese
Medicine in Reading, UK, graduating in 2003.
In 2008, I completed a two year training in
Chinese Herbal Medicine at LCTA.
I am concentrated on ongoing study of Classical Chinese Medicine, primarily with Dr. Arnaud Versluys.
My approach reflects a deep interest in the classics and my long term practice of Buddhism. In 2007, I made a
pilgrimage to the sacred mountain of Emeishan in Sechuan to study a Buddhist system of Chinese medicine.
I am a lecturer and supervise students in clinic at LCTA in London.
I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine and am fully
insured and bound to abide by their codes of ethics and safe practice.
