Acupuncture
Perhaps best known for treating pain, acupuncture
is effective accross a wide range of symptoms and
has become increasingly popular in the west.
Very fine sterile single-use needles are inserted
carefully at specific points on energy channels to
help to tune and balance the system. Treatment
may also include use of moxabustion and cupping.
At the initial appointment, a thorough case history
is taken to identify the pattern of disturbance. At
the conclusion of the first consultation I will draw up
a plan, which is likely to involve a course of weekly or fortnightly treatments for a period of time depending on
the depth of the pathology at hand. I may well suggest using herbs alongside acupuncture. I also offer lifestyle
and dietary advice to help you to find ways to create health in your daily life.
Intial Appointment Fee:
£50 ( 90 minute consultation and treatment)
Subsequent Visits:
£40 ( 60 minute consultation and treatment)
